new week new visas

Happy Monday!!!! I hope you have a nice week and receive a decision (or at least you don't receive an "non straight forward" email)

SWV received

Application date - 18/05 Bio date - 26/05 (Croydon) Non priority with dependents Change of visa type and employer Escalation, follow up and complaints Approval received - 24/08

SWV Granted!

I got my visa granted today and I couldn't be happier! I was extremely afraid of getting my visa refused because I had a criminal record, but I was fully honest, and it was worth it in the end. I just want to share my experience and timeline:

Inside UK SWV with new passports take heart (and maybe check your spam folders)

I'm writing with relief (and a massive glass of red wine) that, despite being a technical issue & overall new passport problem child, I got my SWV approval inside the UK today (sort of).

Decision made! How long for VFS?

I'm beyond thrilled that I just got, in response to my umpteenth paid-inquiry email, notice from UKVI:

SWV inside UK priority, IDV app, New passport - Decision received

After a lifetime of wait of 12 weeks and 1 day, I finally received a positive decision for my SWV change of employer application inside the UK.

This Is Taking Forever

This is more just a rant than anything. I have been extremely patient so far, but in the past few days it seems to be getting really difficult continuing with this wait.
