Absolutely horrendous. Makes you want to never set foot in India. Don't believe the 24 hour phone and e-mail support. Called 17 times over 2 weeks and phone was answered once by a woman who said 'hmph'. When I asked her if it was Indian Visa Centre she said 'hmph' and hung up on me. Called back 6 times with no answer. Website doesn't work.

Useless website and their helpdesk tried to cheat us
We tried getting a visa using this website, for some reason it all went wrong trying to get one for my wife, we couldn't get the site to let us do anything, it just kept telling us the visa was in progress but we couldn't upload a photo or anything. We contacted the helpdesk on the site via email as there is no way I'm going to call India from the UK when I don't know what the call charges are. They took 4 days to get back to us and said there was no application in the database, so I went back to the visa site and took various screenshots and sent this back to them, they then told me to go to indiaonlinevisa.org, we had a look at this but it's just a SCAM - they want you to pay an extra $100 on top of the $100 visa fee. SO THE HELPDESK FOR THE OFFICIAL INDIAN GOVERNMENTVISA WEBSITE IS RUNNING A SCAM!! We complained to the Indian High Commission in London and they said they knew about the scam but hadn't done anythng about it yet and they directed us to yet another website. Sorry guys, I don't trust ANYONE in theeIndian High Commission anymore, as far as I'm concerned they are ALL involved in the scam, even the receptionist who answers their phone is about as helpful as a brick wall. There are plenty of places in the world to visit, India has just been removed from my list of places to go..
