Those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with one of the following vaccines do not have to quarantine as long as the last dose was received at least 14 days before arriving in Qatar: AstraZeneca, Covishield, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, and Sinopharm. This only applies to nationals and residents of Qatar, and nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates and their accompanying family members and domestic workers. There are other exemptions, including pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, elderly passengers (over 75), and military personnel, providing they meet certain conditions. Nationals and residents of Qatar with a positive COVID-19 test result issued in Qatar at most 9 months before arrival are also exempt. All passengers must also install the Ehteraz app. Nationals of the other GCC countries cannot currently enter Qatar with their national ID card; if permitted to enter, they must do so with a valid passport.
