In an attempt to facilitate ease of trade between the U.S. and Canada and Mexico, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was created. Aside from the economic benefits linked to this agreement, it also aims at making traveling and working in the U.S. more accessible to Canadians and Mexicans.
